Location: Leighton Buzzard
Salary: Circa £50,000 - £60,000
A prestigious chocolatier and confectionary manufacturer are now looking for a Production Manager to run their Chocolate Production Facility
Production Manager - Job Role:
The company supply to high end retailers and their chocolate division has been established for 5 years.
Due to the growth of this division the company now needs a Production Manager to manage the small production team and assist to grow the team.
The role will involve the following:
* Ensure Production targets are met
* Undertake training and inductions to the production team
* Forecasting
* Capacity planning
* Assist with introducing a 2 shift system and ramping up the growth of the team
Production Manager – Person Requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the Food Manufacturing Industry as a Production Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience:
* Ideally hold a health and safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH (Not essential)
* Ideally hold a food safety qualification such as HACCP or Similar
* Experience with growing production teams and forecasting, capacity planning, growth etc
