Job Description
Are you an experienced Production Manager with a background in CNC and engineering manufacturing? We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-established, family-run engineering firm based in Cheshire. Specialising in automated machinery for the Food & FMCG industry, they’re now looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead a team of 8 across CNC, Assembly, and Finishing.

Production Manager - The Role:
Oversee day-to-day production across all departments
Drive output, quality, and efficiency
Implement and improve SOPs and lean processes
Lead and develop a small, skilled team including apprentices
Collaborate with Engineering on tooling, machining, and workflow improvements
Manage H&S, quality control, and scheduling
Production Manager - The Person:
5+ years’ production/engineering management experience
CNC background essential (5-axis milling, lathes, etc.)
Strong team leadership, planning, and troubleshooting skills
Familiar with lean principles and quality standards
Confident communicator with a proactive approach
Located in Cheshire, this role would be commutable from Manchester, Warrington, Macclesfield, Wilmslow and Knutsford
