Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our growing client within the plastics manufacturing sector. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate day-to-day production activities on the shop floor
*
Manage and support a team of production staff
*
Create and manage staff rotas to ensure optimal coverage
*
Monitor workflow and production schedules to meet customer and internal deadlines
*
Ensure health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times
*
Identify and resolve any production issues quickly and effectively
*
Report on production output, challenges, and improvements to senior management
*
Work closely with other departments including Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics
*
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role, ideally within plastics or manufacturing
*
Strong leadership and staff management skills
*
Excellent organizational and planning ability
*
Confident communicator at all levels
*
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
*
Knowledge of health & safety and quality standards in manufacturing
*
IT literate and comfortable with basic reporting tools/systems
