The Role
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production is delivered on time, on budget, and to exacting quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to drive efficiency across a busy, high-precision environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and manage the production team to meet output targets.
*
Plan and schedule workload for CNC milling, turning, and other manufacturing processes.
*
Ensure all work meets ISO and customer quality requirements.
*
Monitor production KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvements.
*
Liaise with senior management, design, and quality departments to meet customer deadlines.
*
Manage budgets, resources, and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
About You
*
Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a CNC precision engineering environment.
*
Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining, including milling, turning, and CAD/CAM.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and planning skills.
*
Able to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
*
Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
