Are you ready to take full ownership of factory operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We're looking for a dynamic Production Manager to lead a manufacturing team in Croydon - someone who can drive performance, maintain high standards, and ensure they continue delivering top-quality products to their customers.
About the Role:
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of their factory operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a critical leadership role where you’ll work closely with the Operations Director to shape the future of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of factory operations, including production, planning, and performance
* Lead, coach, and develop production teams to meet KPIs and drive continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and quality standards
* Manage resource planning and shift performance to ensure output and efficiency
* Collaborate with maintenance, technical, and supply chain functions to resolve issues and optimise productivity
* Identify and implement process improvements across production operations
About You:
* Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing, OEE, and continuous improvement techniques
* Strong understanding of health & safety and quality compliance
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
