Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental procedures
* Lead and coach operational shift teams, ensuring accurate reporting and prompt action on equipment defects and alarms
* Manage site production costs, including consumables, utilities, reagents, and waste disposal
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement using KPIs and lean manufacturing principles
* Ensure effective execution and communication of production and logistics plans
* Act as a visible leader, motivating and engaging teams across all levels
About You
* Degree-level education or extensive relevant experience in the chemical or process industries
* NEBOSH Process Safety Certificate or other recognised Health & Safety qualification (preferred)
* Minimum 2 years’ management experience within a chemical industry setting (ideally CoMAH regulated)
* At least 4 years of experience leading operational teams
* Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
* Proven track record in fostering a continuous improvement culture
* Analytical, structured, and decisive approach to problem-solving
