Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Production Operator to join a leading manufacturing team in Plymouth. Working within a fast-paced production environment, you’ll assemble products across multiple lines and operate a range of manufacturing machinery in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This position is being recruited on a Permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble products or operate manufacturing equipment in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Take part in safety training sessions, briefings, and on-site initiatives to maintain a thorough understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
* Build products or run production machinery according to SOPs, ensuring awareness of Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters and adherence to both physical and visual quality standards.
* Develop a solid working knowledge of key MRP processes within the PLEX system, including component and finished goods booking, FOLOs, scrap recording, and other relevant procedures as required.
* Gain familiarity with a variety of production tasks across multiple lines, beyond the operator’s primary team assignment.
* Build an understanding of Continuous Improvement principles and the 5S methodology
Essential Experience:
* Previous experience working in manufacturing and production assembly, ideally on a manual or semi-automatic assembly line or in a machinery operation role.
* A good level of manual dexterity is essential for most positions, along with the ability to sit or stand for a standard production shift to support flexibility across a variety of tasks within the plant.

* Starting salary up to £27,187.36.
* 5% Company bonus achievable through hitting personal and departmental KPI’s.

* Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:00
* Friday 07:00 to 11:50 (half day Friday’s).
