Job Description
Join a busy manufacturing team as a Production Operative specialising in fuel tank production. This hands-on role involves using equipment and machinery, following technical instructions, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality in every task. Fixed and permanent contracts available.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate safely and follow all health and safety guidelines at all times.
* Maintain clean and tidy work areas.
* Read, understand and work from technical drawings, SOPs and process specifications.
* Operate RF welders and use adhesives/lacquer to bond components.
* Prepare, fit, lacquer and stencil tanks, including data recording tasks.
* Perform manual tasks: lifting, marking up, fitting and assembling components for production.
* Strip and rebuild jigs, formers, and related equipment as required.
* Work efficiently as part of a production team.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in manufacturing, production, or similar hands-on environments preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
* Good manual dexterity and physical capability for handling materials/machinery.
* Able to follow complex instructions and technical documents.
* Reliable, punctual, and team-minded.
* Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn new skills.
* Full-time, site-based role – Monday to Thursday, 07:30–16:15; Fridays, 07:30–16:00
