Job Description
A well-established manufacturing business producing high-quality printed products is looking for a detail-focused Production Operative to join the team in Daventry. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail who takes pride in ensuring every product meets the highest quality standards before it leaves the factory.

What you’ll be doing as Production Operative:
You’ll be inspecting printed materials, spotting even the smallest inconsistencies, and setting up equipment to keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out visual and physical inspections of printed materials for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Identifying and reporting any defects such as misregistration, colour variation, smudging, or incorrect content.
Setting up multiple slitter units.
Setting up and running a 100% visual inspection unit.
Splicing rolls together in line with customer specifications.
We’re looking for a Production Operative with:
Experience working in printing or manufacturing environments.
Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical approach.
Ability to follow procedures, manuals, and quality standards.
Good teamwork skills and a safety-first mindset.
Basic computer skills.
Working hours:
Double Days (Monday to Thursday - 06:00 till 13:45 or 13:30 till 21:15 and Friday - 06:00 till 11:30 or 11:15 till 17:00)
