Location: Bardon Hill, Coalville

Job Title: Pallet Repairer / Production Operative
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday weekly rotating shifts 06:00-1400 / 14:00-22:00

Salary: Circa £31,000 - £36,000 per annum (including attendance and production bonuses)

About Our Client:
Our client is one of the UK’s largest and most progressive timber processing companies. Their core activities include timber harvesting, sawmilling, pallet and packaging production, and distribution. They are seeking hardworking and reliable Production Operatives for a temp-to-perm position.

Main Duties:
As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  * Inspecting and repairing wooden pallets in a fast-paced environment.

  * Operating pneumatic nail guns and reciprocating saws following specifications and standard operating procedures (SOP), in accordance with risk assessments.

  * Ensuring compliance with site rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

  * The role involves significant manual handling, including lifting, bending, and twisting.

Requirements:
We are looking for Production Operatives who:

  * Can work both as part of a team and independently when needed.

  * Are physically fit and experienced in using power tools.

  * Are willing to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday.

  * Can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:

  * Competitive salary package including basic pay, attendance, and productivity bonuses.

  * Basic pay rate: £12.71 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5x the rate on Saturdays and 1.75x the rate on Sundays.

  * Weekly attendance bonus of £37.50.

  * Weekly production bonus, averaging between £90 to £180 for top performers.

  * The opportunity for higher earnings based on individual performance.

  * Overtime is available.
