Job Description

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – IMMEDIATE START

TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY

Shift rota - 06:00-14:30 and 13:30 -22:00.

Our client is an extremely successful business with a family feel about it. They are looking for a Production Operative whilst operating production equipment and performing material preparation, packaging, and basic quality checks.

Primary Responsibilities

  * Prepare raw materials and packaging, ensuring correct quantities and transporting them to designated production areas

  * Operate processing equipment according to instructions and standard procedures

  * Check labels and packaging materials to ensure correct application and documentation

  * Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with housekeeping requirements

  * Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures

  * Perform other tasks as assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor

Minimum Requirements

  * Basic level of education (UK equivalent; no high school requirement stated)

  * Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality procedures

  * Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, and manual handling

  * Good English communication skills
