Job Description

Position: Production Operative

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and focused Document Scanning Operator to join our records management team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our digitisation efforts, responsible for converting critical physical documents into high-quality digital archives.

This is a desk-based position perfect for someone who enjoys structured, systematic work and takes pride in accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  * Operate Specialised Equipment: Manage and maintain high-volume, Kodak production-grade scanners to digitise paper records efficiently.

  * Document Preparation: Prep physical files for scanning by removing staples, paperclips, and bindings, ensuring paper is flat and ready for the feeder.

  * Continuous Scanning: Sit at a dedicated workstation to feed and monitor documents through the scanning software, maintaining a steady and efficient workflow.

  * Quality Control: Review scanned images on-screen in real-time to ensure clarity, correct alignment, and completeness.

  * File Management: Accurately name, index, and securely route digital files to the appropriate databases.

  * Basic Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting on the Kodak scanners to keep them running smoothly.

What We Are Looking For

  * High Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for catching image defects, missed pages, or misaligned scans.

  * Focus and Stamina: Comfortability sitting at a desk and maintaining concentration on repetitive, high-volume tasks throughout the 8:00 - 16:00 shift.

  * Basic Computer Literacy: confidence in learning specialised scanning software.

  * Respect for Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive or confidential paperwork with the utmost discretion
