Connect Appointments is recruiting Production Operatives to join an established seafood processing business based in Buckie.
This is the skilled end of the production process, hands-on work with whole fresh salmon, with real variety across the shift and a clear route to a higher rate as your skills develop.
What's on offer?
Temporary to permanent opportunity
Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
£13.78 per hour, rising to £14.42 per hour once trained to skilled operator level
Overtime available paid at 1.5X after 40 hours - £20.67 per hour
Full training providedAs a Production Operative, your duties will include:
Working with whole fresh salmon at the first stage of the production process
Deheading, trimming, slicing and pin-boning to quality standards
Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards throughout the shiftTo be considered as a Production Operative, you will need:
Knife skills are an advantage, but full training is provided
A level of physical fitness as the role involves lifting and repetitive movement
