Job Description

We have work available in Normanton, WF6 with immediate starts!
Hours of work are 7am-7pm with production running 7 days per week.
Payrate : £13.21 per hour, weekly pay and accrued holiday.
Main duties would be packing fruit on a production line :
  1. Sorting Fruit
      * Inspect fruit for quality, size, and ripeness.
      * Remove damaged or spoiled pieces.
      * Grade fruit according to company or customer standards.
  2. Packing
      * Place sorted fruit into trays, cartons, or crates.
      * Ensure fruit is packed securely to prevent bruising or damage.
      * Follow specific packaging instructions (e.g., label orientation, quantity per box).
  3. Maintaining Cleanliness
      * Keep the work area clean and organized.
      * Follow hygiene standards, especially if the fruit is for fresh consumption.
  4. Meeting Production Targets
      * Work at a consistent pace to meet daily quotas.
      * Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
  5. Following Health & Safety Guidelines
      * Wear protective clothing (e.g., gloves, hairnets).
      * Report hazards or accidents immediately.
