Job Description

Production Operative – Southampton

We are recruiting for a Production Operative job in Southampton with an established electronics manufacturing business. This Production Operative job is a hands-on opportunity within a busy production environment.

The Job

As a Production Operative, you will:

  * 

    Assemble SMT and conventional PCB assemblies

  * 

    Carry out hand soldering, rework and repairs

  * 

    Assemble cables and wiring using hand crimping

  * 

    Build electronic products and sub-assemblies

  * 

    Carry out inspection and quality checks

  * 

    Follow drawings, work instructions and production documentation

Experience Required

Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly is preferred, particularly PCB assembly, soldering, crimping, cable or wiring assembly.

Candidates without direct experience will also be considered, with full training provided for the right person.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00
Location: Southampton
