Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company in Newmarket is seeking reliable Production Operatives to join their busy production team. This role focuses on the brazing aspect of their production process, working with metal components such as evaporator coils, condenser coils, and other cooling units. Relevant experience such as brazing, soldering, or general factory work is desirable but not essential, as motivated candidates with manufacturing or production backgrounds will also be considered.
Production Operative Duties:
Brazing metal components together with precision and care
Prepping metals and materials
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Assisting with other workshop duties as required
Working flexibly to meet customer demands
Operating in a chilled, dusty environment with moving machinery and forklift trucks nearby
Handling repetitive and heavy lifting safelyPay & Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30
Friday, 07:30 - 12:30
Starting pay from £12.21 p/hour
Overtime opportunities available
