Siamo are pleased to work with a fast-growing family company in Swindon who are looking to onboard a Production Operative. You will grow and develop within this role becoming a key component to our client’s success. Joining them on a stable temporary ongoing basis.   This is a unique opportunity where the promise to develop and grow is inevitable, continuing to grow across the past 5 years our client is looking for a driven and experienced Production Operative to join their close-knit team.   This role will be basic production work including the use of laser cutters where full training will be provided. As a production operative you’ll be a crucial part of the business to ensure customers receive high quality products and efficient service. If you would like to join a fun and hard-working team, helping to work towards the same goals then we would love to hear from you!    Pay and Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 06:30am – 15:00pm £12.30 Per Hour with overtime rates at 1.3, 1.5 & 2.0 base salary  What will a Production Operative be doing? Operating a specialist laser cutting machines to manufacture high quality MDF pieces at the required quality and output levels. Following quality monitoring processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards possible and provide feedback to supervisors when required. Monitoring all waste and non-compliant product and record all such occurrences Scanning all jobs onto the ERP system in real time to ensure up to date information on all production processes. Prioritising health and safety in all areas of operation, practicing good care with fire and risk assessments. PPE to be worn whenever required. Undertaking machine maintenance, cleaning, trouble shooting and fault finding, working in conjunction with technical department when required. Displaying excellent levels of teamwork and co-operation when working with colleagues in other departments / other areas of production. Following all required protocols when operating the lasers, such as start-up and shut- down procedures and accurately ID stamping all finished products. Participating in and ensure complete accuracy of periodic stock takes whenever required.  What makes the perfect Production Operative?
