Job Description
Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for our client in Telford. This is an incredible opportunity to join a growing business on a temporary to permanent bassis and learn new skills within the carpentry/construction industry with progression available for the right candidate. You will need to have a full driving license and own transport due to the location of this business.
This role is due to start Mid - September and will involve an interview and site tour with factory manager.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday
8am - 4:30pm
(may vary due to busy periods - requires flexibility)
Pay:
£12.50 per hour
Duties and responsibilities as a Production Operative:
Accurately cut and measure timber panels according to specifications
Use tape measures and various hand tools to prepare and handle materials
Assist in the production and assembly of timber panels for housing and construction projects
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Qualifications & Skills as a Production Operative:
High levels of written and spoken English
A positive attitude to work
Good Attendance & a self starter
Confident in reading and utilising a tape measure
Previous experience using hand tools
The right to work in the UK
Must have own car due to location of site
