Job Description
Become part of a well-established production team based in Bury St Edmunds, where you'll play a hands-on role in manufacturing bespoke conveyor and drive belts. Working with materials such as PVC, rubber, and polyurethane, you'll be contributing to products supplied across a wide range of industries, including recycling, agriculture, distribution, and more. This position starts on a temp-to-perm basis, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent role after a successful probation period.
Pay & Hours:
£13.00 - £15.00 p/hour, depending on experience
Training schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm
Once trained: 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday), 2pm - midnight Location:
Based in Bury St Edmunds, with on-site parking and easy access from surrounding areas like Thetford, Newmarket, and Stowmarket.
Duties include:
Fabricating and finishing high‑quality conveyor and drive belt products
Operating tools and basic machinery in a hands-on manufacturing environment
Supporting a small, experienced team to meet daily production targets
Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised workspace
Picking up new tasks and learning techniques on the jobRequirements:
Practical, reliable, and ready to get stuck in. No previous manufacturing experience is required-just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
