Production Operative - Manufacturing
Newton Abbot, Devon | Day or Night Shifts | £12.21 - £18.66 per hour | Temp to Perm
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Production Operatives to join a growing team at a metal fabrication facility in Newton Abbot.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established manufacturer offering full training, excellent facilities, and potential for long-term employment.
Shift Patterns & Pay:
Day Shift:
Monday to Thursday: 6am - 4pm.
£12.21 per hour.
Overtime paid at £18.31 per hour.
Night Shift:
Monday to Wednesday: 6pm - 6am.
£13.21 per hour.
Overtime paid at £18.66 per hour.
Both roles are temporary to permanent, with immediate starts available.
Main Responsibilities:
Operating CNC machines to produce metal components to specification.
Basic welding and fabrication of metal parts.
Quality checking of finished products.
Assisting with loading and unloading materials.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in manufacturing or production is desirable.
Familiarity with CNC machines or welding techniques is beneficial.
Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
Manual handling experience advantageous.
