Job Description
The Job People are currently looking for Production Assembly Operative's for our manufacturing client based in B35 - Castle Bromwich
Must have carpentry / joiner / framework / construction / labouring / production experience
Must be able to work 3 shift rotation, AM, PM and Nights to be considered for this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, power tools and possess mechanical knowledge.
The chosen candidate must have previous experience working to targets within a manufacturing and production industry.
This role is full time only - no part time roles available. Details of a Production Operative based in B35 Castle Vale:
Monday to Friday
Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 06:00
Early finish on a Friday. 06.00 - 13.20 / 13.20 - 20:00 /
Nights Sunday to Thursday 22.00 - 06.00 £14.49 per hour
12 hour shifts will be required during busy periods
Opportunity for hourly rate to increase once trained on a variety of roles.
Overtime available
Long term opportunity - perm contract opportunities.

Early finish on Fridays!As an Production Operative you will have the below experience:
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Able to safely operate saws and cutting machines.
Able to accuratley use a tape measure - we calculate in millimetres MM.
Follow company procedures and understanding of health and safety compliance.
Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures.
Previous experience as a carpenter, joinery, labouring or assembly.
Ability to interpret assembly instructions and blueprints
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Attention to detail and precision in work
Previous experience working to targets in a production environment.
Able to count in CM's and MM's using a tape measure accurately.
Excellent time management.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to lift loads of up to 25kg.As a Production Operative based in B35 Castle Vale, you will be required but not limited to the below:
Working on a production line follow set processes / instructions to build wooden frameworks
Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
Using Air power tools and electrical saws.
Follow assembly instructions and blueprints meticulously
Inspect finished products for quality assurance
Maintain a clean and organised work-space
Working in a fast paced production environment.
Able to work rotating shifts from 6am till 2pm, 2pm till 10pm, 10pm till 6am.
Able to hit production targets on an hourly, daily and weekly basis.
