Role: Production Operative
Location: Elland, West Yorkshire
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm (5 days a week) or 6am – 4:30pm ( 4 days a week)
XCL Group are currently recruiting for a Production Operative for a manufacturing client based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Main purpose of the role would be to ensure the correct materials are supplied to the correct areas in a timely manner.
Duties may include but not limited to:
* Operating manual and automated machinery
* Manual lifting
* Organising and ensuring goods are sorted in a timely manner in the correct areas and is accurately accounted for.
* Quality inspection of products
* To comply with 5S standards.
* Flexibility to work in all areas and assist team members
* Undergo additional training as and when required
* Abide to all health and safety standards at all times including wearing the correct PPE
Requirements
* Experience in a similar role as a Production Operative
* Ability to get to and from the company during unsociable hours
* Be involved with manual handling, some of which may be heavy products/ materials.
Preferred Skills
* Good English both verbally and written
* Organised
* Ability to work in a fast pace environment
* Any relating qualifications/certificates
* Understanding of 5sBefore You Apply
