Location: Gloucester
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: £13ph
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our client on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production process, operating machinery, and using hand tools to assemble and finish products efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, and other manual tools to assist in product assembly, finishing, and packaging.
- Assist in the assembly, packing, and finishing of products.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products and report any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily targets.
- Support team members to achieve production goals.
Requirements:
- Own transport as location is not accessable by public transport
- Previous experience is not essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic assembly techniques.
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle manual tasks.
- Commitment to health and safety regulations.
