Production Operative - Weekend Shift
Location: St Neots Cambridgeshire
Hours: 34 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
Friday: 5 hours (10am to 3pm)
Saturday: 12 hours (6am to 6pm)
Sunday: 12 hours (6am to 6pm)
Monday: 5 hours (10am to 3pm)
Do you have experience working in a production or manufacturing environment?
Attega Group is currently working exclusively with our client who specialise in high-quality, turnkey solutions in print, signage, and fabrication.
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Production Operative to join the weekend shift team in a busy department.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate large-format printers
Interpret job specifications to ensure accurate setup and materials.
Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean working area.
Prepare jobs for fabrication measuring, templating, and hand trimming.
Finish products by welding, eyeleting, and completing quality inspections.
Coordinate with team members to ensure jobs are completed to spec and on schedule.
Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
Hands-on experience within a Manufacturing or Production environment
Willing to learn attitude
Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Familiarity with MIS systems and basic IT skills.
Team player with great communication skills.
Flexible, dependable, and willing to work overtime if required.
Consistently punctual with a proactive mindset.
