Production Operative - Double Day Rotating Shift
Up to £29,000 P/A depending on experience
St Neots, Cambridgeshire
Full time | Permanent | 40 hours per week - Double day shift is 6am - 2pm one week and 2pm - 10pm the following week.

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client who is a leading print service provider specialising in large scale projects.
As a Production Operative in our busy Framing and Lighting department, you will be following CAD plans to cut, manipulate and construct a variety of Frame and Lightbox applications utilising a number of Aluminium extrusions and lighting components. You will also be responsible for test building the frames and ensuring good fits of the graphic elements prior to packing up for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating of Machinery – All tools that are required to complete the job at hand including but not limited to, Aluminium cutting equipment, extrusion bender & CNC routing.
Understanding every job and ensure all materials are correct and present
Undertaking routine maintenance and housekeeping on the machines
Assembly / production of tension framing systems & light boxes
Ensuring the printed products are of a high quality by undertaking thorough inspections and reporting defects to management.
Prioritising work based on the defined schedule and liaising with team members to ensure products are completed and ready to be passed to the Fulfilment team on time and to specification.
Pick and pack of hire products to achieve Customer turn around targets
Receipting incoming deliveries of stock items, checking qty’s and standards before accepting.
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced in working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read engineering drawings
Competent with hand tools and power tools
Basic electrical knowledge (low voltage 12v – 24v)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Basic IT skills and ability to use MIS systems.
Great communication and teamwork.
Flexible, reliable, and willing to work overtime when needed.
Punctual with a positive attitude.
