Job Description
Role: Production Operative
Location: Ilfracombe
Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay rate: £12.25 per hour (increasing after 3 months)
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join a busy team on a 3-month contract with the potential for a permanent role. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 9.25 hours per day (37 hours per week).
The exact role will depend on your strengths and may be in either Casting or Post Casting Production:
Casting
Heavy manual production in a hot environment
Team-based work using Clave, Furnace Oven, and Crucible to produce metal castings
Lifting equipment provided, but the role is physically demandingPost Casting
Standing role, operating machinery to remove and finish metal parts (from a few ounces up to 40kg)
Using equipment such as plasma cutters, Tilman, linishers, bead blasters, cure ovens, and air-powered hand tools
Working independently while part of a supportive teamWhat the company offer
