Just Temps are currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a leading manufacturer based near Woodbridge. As a trusted temporary staffing partner, we're offering a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced production environment supporting a well-established, quality-driven business.
This is a full-time role with rotating shifts and immediate starts available.
The Role:
As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in helping manufacture a high-quality range of sauces for retail and food service markets. You'll be working as part of a collaborative team, contributing to various stages of the production process - from preparing ingredients and operating machinery to quality control and packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the production process by following recipes and specifications
* Operate machinery across multiple production lines (cooking, filling, labelling, capping, etc.)
* Conduct regular cleaning and hygiene tasks to maintain food safety standards
* Load raw materials and stack finished products
* Perform quality control checks and maintain accurate records
* Assist with equipment changeovers and product transitions
* Follow a 'clean as you go' policy to ensure a safe, tidy work area
What We're Looking For:
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
* Proactive approach with a positive attitude
* Comfortable with manual handling tasks
Shifts & Pay:
* Rotating shifts: 5:45 AM - 2:00 PM and 1:45 PM - 10:00 PM
* Hourly rate: £12.24 per hour
* Weekly hours: 37.5 hours, full-time
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
* No weekends
