Production Operator - £12.50 per hour plus overtime - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Bonus, Life Assurance, Pension, On site parking. Days role working Mon to Fri (early finish on Fri) - Permanent position based in Westbury on Trym, Bristol - Immediate start available.
Our client are a well established and successful engineering company who produce components for the aerospace industry - due to ongoing growth they are looking for a Production Operator to carry out deburring and detailing work. Working as park of a small but friendly team, this role will report into the Team Leader and would suit someone who has previously worked in a similar role within an engineering or machine shop environment.
Duties of the Production Operator / Deburrer will include:
Following work instructions
Using hand tools to smooth and clean out parts and components
Checking first offs
Some assembly work
Carrying out general detailing and cleaning of parts
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working in a work shop environment - this role will involve being sat a work bench and will involve checking finished goods and quality stamping the work. Our client are ideally looking for someone with previous experience, however they will welcome applications from candidates who have not worked in engineering but do have excellent attention to detail, are conscientious in their approach to work and can remain calm under pressure.
