Job Description
DC Personnel are recruiting Production and Packing Operatives for our well-established manufacturing client based in Rugby.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and growing team in a clean and organised manufacturing environment.
Job Title: Production & Packing Operatives
Location: Rugby
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00, Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
Total: 36.5 hours per week paid
Breaks: 30-minute lunch + 2x 15-minute breaks (AM & PM)
We have two types of roles available depending on your experience and preferences:
Packing Operative (Clean Room Environment)
Sealing and labelling finished products
Packing items into boxes ready for dispatch
Ensuring packaging is clean, accurate, and meets quality standards
Working in a cleaner, temperature-controlled area
Following strict hygiene and safety protocols
Production Operative (Light Machinery)
Operating light machinery involved in the manufacturing of capsules and tablets
Monitoring production processes and carrying out quality checks
Feeding materials into machines and reporting any faults
Keeping the production area clean and organised
Working independently or in small teams
General Responsibilities (Both Roles May Include):
Dispensing and dispatching products following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Picking stock accurately based on order requirements
Replenishing stock and checking inventory levels
Processing returns and assisting with stock control
Conducting regular date checks to ensure proper stock rotation
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in production, packing, or quality control is preferred
Comfortable working independently or in small teams
Able to follow health & safety and company procedures
Willing to operate semi-automatic machinery (training provided)
Reliable with good attention to detail
