This organization is looking for a Production Planner & Forecast Manager who will be vital in aligning distribution capabilities with market requirements. The successful candidate will engage in forecasting capacity needs while collaborating closely with multiple teams to grasp future business demands. Additionally, they will evaluate current operational capabilities and work with site teams to uncover any potential constraints in capacity commitments.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive analyses and forecasting of capacity requirements across the distribution network.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to understand emerging business needs and demands.
• Evaluate the capacity of existing operations to meet future requirements.
• Work in partnership with site teams to verify capacity commitments and identify any operational constraints.
• Provide informative, data-driven reports to enhance strategic planning and decision-making.
• Act as a bridge between planning and operational functions to ensure effective collaboration.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in production planning, capacity planning, or related fields is essential, ideally with a background in logistics or distribution.
