Production Planner – Gravesend, Kent – Full-Time, Office-Based
We’re currently recruiting for a talented and driven Production Planner to join a thriving manufacturing organisation based at their European head office in Gravesend, Kent. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong production planning experience, a proactive mindset, and a background in fast-paced manufacturing environments. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that the right products are produced at the right time—maximising efficiency while maintaining high customer service standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Creating and managing weekly production schedules
Coordinating with supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability
Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules for any disruptions or changes in demand
Utilising tools like SAP, Excel, and Power BI to support data-driven decisions
Leading planning meetings, reporting on capacity, and supporting ongoing continuous improvement projects
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
Strong MRP/ERP knowledge, ideally SAP
Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and data skills are a bonus
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving, and dynamic team environment
