Job Description
A well-established and leading manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire is looking for a Production Planner to join the business. This is a full-time permanent position working in a busy, fast-paced, demanding environment. Working Monday to Friday 37 hours and offers attractive salary & benefits.
The successful Production Planner will be responsible for:
Carrying out planning for all areas of production in the business and monitor operational performance
Maintaining KPI's and generating reports and analysing data
Liaising with sales, production, transport departments
Scheduling work and monitoring all materials for works orders
Monitoring and merging production efficiencies
Reviewing shortages and expediting priorities
The ideal candidate will be in an existing planning role within an SME manufacturing environment s
The ideal Production Planner will have previous relevant experience of working in a planning role within within an SME manufacturing environment and have a strong competence in MRP/ERP systems. You must have previous experience of manufacturing resource planning/material requirements and have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. You should have strong IT skills in particular MS Excel and extensive knowledge of MRP systems. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic manufacturing business
