Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to recruit a Production Planner on a permanent basis.
This could be an ideal role if you are a Junior Planner or recent Graduate who is at the start of their Planning career.
The Job you’ll do
* To complete a range of routine and non-routine order scheduling processes to direct production, with the intent to fully support customer requirements.
* Ideally the successful candidate would have several years’ experience in a previous planning role, however, consideration would be given to a candidate with excellent IT skills (e.g. Excel, Power Bi etc) coupled with a flexible/adaptable attitude to a new challenge.
* Checks customer orders and clarifies demand issues and deviations to previous volumes.
* Enters order data into the respective planning systems.
* Liaises with other departments (eg. production, warehousing) to ensure schedules are met.
* Prioritises, plans and schedules production orders and plans the respective resources needed (in Logistics or Production).
* Support outbound delivery time schedules in co-operation with clients.
* Supports (where required) administration of outbound deliveries.
* Responds to customer and stakeholder requests for information.
* Maintains appropriate documentation and prepares respective reports.
* May assist in inventory management to support the planning process.
* Supports regular internal and customer meetings.
About You
* Experience in a similar role within automotive environment would be beneficial.
* Attention to detail.
* Good knowledge of Excel.
* Flexible approach.
* Good communicator.
