Production Planner
Swansea
£35,000
Days (Monday - Friday)
We are looking for a highly motivated Production Planner to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. An exciting opportunity for a skilled Production Planner to join a well-established company and Production team. As Production Planner, you will be tasked with the organisation and planning of the Production Department. This position will appeal to a strong candidate looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.
Role Description -
Develops the production plan taking into account: - sales forecasting of parent reels/finished product- Converting and customers' paper requirement - stock levels; pursuing the aims assigned to the plant in relation to required service level, warehouse balance and productive efficiency
Interfaces with Procurement Specialist to check raw materials availability
Discusses the production plan with the Production Manager, in order to assess its technical feasibility and to take corrective actions if necessary
Approves the production plan
Liaises with the Transport Office to solve any issue related to the goods shipments and transfers
Manages critical events within the relevant area
Collaborates with the local Marketing & Sales Dept to maximise service to parent reels and finished goods customers
Guarantees the correct management of relevant processes in accordance with the Group's policies and procedures
Promotes a safety-bound corporate culture
Applies the Corporate Principles and Values
