Job Description
Are you an experienced Production Planner looking for a new position for a growing company? Do you have experience working within a manufacturing/production environment? If so, this Production Planner role is perfect for you!
The Production Planner position is working for a manufacturer in the Andover area. The working hours for the role are Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, and an early finish of 3:30pm Friday. The role is paying up to £35,000 depending on experience.
As a Production Planner, you will create detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels and production capacity. You will coordinate with purchasing and other departments to ensure materials and components are available on time, working closely with sales, engineering and operations to align production plans with business objectives. You will monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Managing inventory levels and preparing production reports will be key responsibilities, along with resolving any production-related issues such as material shortages or quality concerns. This role requires strong organisational and planning skills, attention to detail and the ability to analyse data to support decision-making.
You will need:
Previous experience working in a similar position within manufacturing/production
Strong experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
Previous experience within electronic manufacturing is advantageous
Any relevant degree or supporting qualifications is beneficial
To be able to commute to Andover and work onsite
