We are recruiting for a Production Shift Manager to lead manufacturing operations on shift, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of production plans. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader looking to develop their career in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage production teams, driving performance, engagement, and accountability.
Deliver key operational KPIs including OEE, waste reduction, quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
Take ownership of shift operations, making real-time decisions to maintain production performance.
Manage safety and quality incidents, investigations, audits, and corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and performance.
Ensure production activities are completed in line with site standards and operational plans.
Conduct performance reviews, coaching, absence management, and employee relations activities.
Coordinate effective shift handovers and communicate operational disruptions clearly.
Support training, development, and succession planning within operational teams. 

What We're Looking For

Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, or food production environment.
Strong understanding of health & safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement principles.
Experience managing teams, performance, and change in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing demands.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, operational excellence, and lean methodologies.
Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding would be advantageous.
