Telford
Package: Up to circa £48,500 per annum (inc. Shift Allowance)
Hours: Permanent Nights

In this key leadership role, you’ll be responsible for the performance, safety, and standards across your shift. You’ll lead a dedicated team, drive operational excellence, and play a vital role in shaping the future of the site. The Production Shift Manager you will be getting involved in…
* Leading your shift to meet production targets while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and cost control
* Coaching and developing your supervisory team to foster a high-performing, motivated workforce
* Driving continuous improvement in waste reduction, efficiency, and GMP compliance
* Managing people performance, including absence, discipline, and succession planning
* Ensuring accurate documentation and audit readiness across all production activities
* Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to support product launches and resolve issues
* Championing a culture of safety, food safety, and operational excellence
* Supporting the implementation of new systems, processes, and technologies
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in a Production Manager / Shift Manager role within the food manufacturing sector.
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Food Safety and HACCP qualifications (minimum Level 3)
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
* A solid understanding of cost drivers, compliance, and best practice manufacturing
