Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Leader to join a fast-paced, target-driven FMCG manufacturing environment. In this role, you will lead a production line team to deliver exceptional quality, productivity, and efficiency, while ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction are always maintained.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a shift team to achieve and exceed KPIs.
*
Ensure all shift activities are carried out safely and in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
*
Plan and manage shift resources, considering short to long-term requirements.
*
Coach, develop, and support the team to optimise performance.
*
Monitor and improve production efficiency, including waste, downtime, and rework reduction.
*
Oversee Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities in line with site objectives.
*
Use problem-solving tools to identify root causes and implement solutions.
*
Drive continuous improvement projects including 5S, Kaizen, and process audits.
*
Act as the senior person on site during out-of-standard hours operations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*
Proven manufacturing experience in an FMCG, target-driven environment.
*
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
*
Excellent organisational skills and resource planning ability.
*
Data analysis and problem-solving skills with numeric interpretation ability.
Desirable:
*
Food processing manufacturing experience.
*
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma techniques.
