Location: Snodland, Kent
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 plus shift allowance
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off days
Alexander Steele is partnering with a leading Food Manufacturing business based in Kent, who are looking to hire a Production Shift Supervisor. You’ll be responsible for leading and developing a team on shift to meet production, quality, and safety targets while driving continuous improvement on the line.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate and manage a production team to meet daily output and quality targets
* Ensure health & safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are followed at all times
* Monitor team performance and support individual development plans
* Maintain clear and effective communication during and between shifts
* Support shift KPI delivery across efficiency, waste, quality, and attendance
* Investigate non-conformances and contribute to performance reviews and daily meetings
* Maintain accurate production records and shift documentation
* Coordinate smooth shift handovers
* Raise people-related concerns with management and HR as required
Skills & Experience
* Experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing or similar environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and food safety standards
* Comfortable working with performance metrics and production targets
* Basic IT and reporting skills
* Flexible approach and a hands-on, proactive attitude
* Familiarity with Warehouse Management SystemsBefore You Apply
