Ritter Fresh is our Butchery and Seafood production department within Ritter Courivaud.

We are seeking an experienced individual to supervise butchery production at Ritter Fresh. This role is crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction, traceability, and product safety through the quality and accuracy of raw materials and finished products, strong product knowledge and attention to detail will be key.
Core Role
* Work closely with the Production Manager to coach, monitor, and drive the production team in the butchery department.
* Ensure finished products are produced to meet specifications and customer requirements.
* Monitor and control inventory in the department with a focus on quality and availability.
* Maintain high standards of product safety and hygiene in the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Stock management of butchery products.
* Ensure traceability is maintained through labelling and FIFO systems.
* Preparation of butchery products to a high standard based on customer requirements.
* Picking, packing and labelling butchery products.
* Documented quality and safety checks.
* Organization and hygiene of the butchery department.
The successful candidate will have / be:
* Skilled in meat preparation.
* Knowledge of meat and butchery products.
* Supervisor experience.
* Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with people at all levels in the organization.
* Knowledge of processing, cutting, and packaging practices.
* Familiarity with traceability and foods safety procedures.
* Desirable: Experience as Supervisor in Meat Production Food Environment, ideally BRC or SALSA.
