Leicester
£40,000 – £45,000
Mon–Fri Days
We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day production operations within a machining-based manufacturing business in Leicester. This is a standalone supervisory role reporting directly to the General Manager, offering excellent visibility and the chance to make a real impact.
The business has recently been acquired and is now undergoing significant investment, creating a unique opportunity for someone ambitious to grow their career alongside the company’s expansion.
The Role
* Lead daily production operations across machining, cutting, assembly, and finishing processes
* Take full responsibility for production shift performance, output, and quality
* Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and working practices
* Support training and development to build capability within the team
* Work closely with the General Manager on investment projects and longer-term growth plans
About You
This role will suit an ambitious and motivated production professional looking to step into a position of real responsibility. You will have the confidence to run the production floor day-to-day and the drive to contribute to the wider growth journey.
Key skills and experience:
* Supervisory or team leader experience within a machining, fabrication, or process-led manufacturing environment
* Strong organisational and people management skills
* Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to solve problems quickly
* Desire to grow into a larger leadership role as the business continues to expand
