Job Description
Tailored Recruitment Partners are recruiting for a Production Supervisor on a permanent basis for a Dairy in Grassington.
Responsibilities
Looking after a team of around 11 people over 3 production areas
·Supervise all production activities.
·Direct all production phases, from initial estimate to final quality check and delivery.
·Control of production stock and rotation, complete weekly and monthly inventory counts, and control of ordering production materials.
·Complete weekly staff rota for production and despatch.
·Built an inventory record system for production materials on MS Excel.
·Achieved quality and productivity KPIs, helping to fuel warehouse efficiency.
·Report on production equipment to senior management on a daily basis, including products produced, downtime minutes, and any quality concerns.
·Regularly reviewed and managed staff performance, including appraisals, disciplinaries, and HIG chats.
·Undertake investigations into customer non-conformance, feedback results, and implement actions.
·Established and updated production schedules to meet changing demands.
·Developed training programs for new staff, enhancing skill sets and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
·Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures to ensure workplace safety.
·Evaluate daily work schedules and action planned daily, and weekly tasks.
·Coordinate team interactions to tackle and solve operational issues.
Shift Pattens
Working 4 weeks Monday – Thursday then 4 weeks Wednesday to Saturday
