We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Production Team Leader to oversee a small team of Line Operators for a highly successful manufacturer in Port Talbot. This is a great opportunity to join as the company expand significantly into 2026.
A Production Team Leader you will:
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all machinery and equipment are operated safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations whilst also ensuring smooth handovers.
Conduct regular inspections of production machinery and equipment to make sure everything is running to an optimal level.
Organise training sessions for new staff or on new procedures to promote continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality control metrics.
Have a 'right first time' attitude and look to reduce change over times to ensure more effective production timescalesAs well as a competitive salary, you will benefit from additional employee benefits, 33 days holiday ( including bank holidays ), a convenient shift pattern with no weekends and genuine prospects for progression as you learn new skills and processes in different departments.
