Job Description
Do you have previous team leader experience? Do you have experience with plastic extrusion or injection moulding? Do you have mechanical engineering knowledge?
If so, this exciting new role could be for you! Our client is a manufacturer of a wide range of bespoke products used across multiple industries. They are looking for a Production Team Leader to join their team of five. You will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes associated with the production of plastic extrusion systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all relevant checks and paperwork are completed.
*
Monitor and improve production processes.
*
Oversee production targets and ensure continued delivery of high-quality products.
*
Maintain quality and safety standards.
*
Ensure extrusions are created according to set procedures and tolerances.
*
Assist with the development of tooling systems.
*
Resolve conflicts and promote harmony within the team.
*
Adhere to all risk assessments, safe systems of work, standard operating procedures, and environmental practices.
*
Ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained throughout the department.
Requirements:
*
Previous team leader experience (ideally).
*
Mechanical maintenance experience.
*
Experience with plastic extrusion or plastic injection moulding (ideally).
Hours: Rotating Weekly Shifts
*
Week 1: Monday – Friday (6am – 2pm)
*
Week 2: Monday – Friday (2pm – 10pm)
*
Week 3: Monday – Thursday (9:30pm – 6:30am)
