Job Description
Join a fast-growing manufacturing business as a Production Team Leader, where you'll lead a team to deliver high-quality products efficiently, safely, and on time. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop your production team to achieve daily targets and KPIs.
Ensure efficient use of people and resources to meet delivery, quality, and safety standards.
Maintain high levels of housekeeping, equipment calibration, and process control.
Manage production documentation, non-conformance reporting, and work order closures.
Communicate targets and priorities clearly to the team and monitor performance.
Support training, skill development, and cross-training of team members.
Drive continuous improvement and take part in root-cause and corrective-action processes.
Liaise with other departments (e.g. Scheduling, Quality, Engineering) to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, ISO9001, and ISO14001 standards.
Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and non-conformities.
About You
Minimum 3 years' experience leading a production team.
Strong communicator, problem-solver, and decision-maker under pressure.
Confident leader with a collaborative and motivating style.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of H&S legislation, ISO9001, and ISO14001.
Understanding of production costs, waste, downtime, and process efficiency.
Hands-on mindset - leads by example and drives results.
