Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for driving performance, motivating teams, and ensuring top-quality production output? We're looking for a Production Team Leader to join a dynamic and fast-paced team based in Coventry.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of the operation - leading by example, coaching team members, and making real-time decisions that ensure safety, efficiency, and excellence on the production floor.
This role is working on a 3-on-3-off night shift basis (6pm - 6am).
Key Responsibilities:
Providing effective management of the production operative team ensuring consistent results throughout the shift.
Be accountable for productivity, cost, safety and quality on the shift.
Manage the allocation of staff resources effectively at the start of shifts.
Monitor performance on an hourly basis and identify any areas that need addressing at short notice.
Provide clear communication at the start of each shift so that production teams are focused and achieve results.Key Skills / Experience:
Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment is essential, this might be in a food or FMCG context.
Previous experience in an automated production environment is desirable.
High drive to continuously improve and optimise operational performance.
Strong team leadership skills.
Good understanding of the health & safety requirements related to working in a production line environment.
Be comfortable reporting to other managers on shift performance and issues that affect it. Processing Your Data
