Job Description
We’re hiring for a Team Leader to join a market-leading manufacturer based in Glossop. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee key workstations including Production, Quality Control, and Wrapping, helping to maintain output, quality, and a safe working environment.
You’ll be responsible for guiding a small team, ensuring production runs smoothly and that all processes are followed to the highest standard. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing or joinery who’s ready to step into a leadership position or build on their existing team management experience.

What will you be doing as a Team Leader?
* Leading workstations across Production, Quality Control, and Wrapping
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Monitoring and ensuring quality standards are consistently met
* Supporting and training new starters, delivering refresher training when needed
* Rotating team members where required to support efficient workflow
* Ensuring daily and weekly output targets are met
* Managing workloads, identifying priorities, and leading by example
What do you need?
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or joinery environment
* Experience leading or supervising a team in a production setting
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* A solid understanding of Health & Safety best practices
* Confident communication skills and the ability to work well across departments
* A proactive approach to managing people and improving performance
* Excellent timekeeping, attendance, and PPE compliance
