Role: Production Team Leader
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: circa £30,000 per annum
Do you have a background in manufacturing & looking for that next career step? We're looking for a Production Team Leader to take charge of one of busy manufacturing lines. If you thrive on responsibility and delivering results, this is your opportunity to lead from the front and make a real impact on our operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be responsible for ensuring your line meets its daily targets while maintaining high standards across health & safety, quality, output, and labour planning. You'll be the vital link between our production operatives and senior management, keeping communication clear, the team motivated, and processes running smoothly.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Achieving daily output targets as set by the planning team
Leading by example and fostering a positive, high-performing culture
Ensuring compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures on the shop floor
Supporting and maintaining labour planning and approving holiday schedules
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, staging, and backflushing accuracy
Owning and updating key factory boards (H&S, Production etc) daily
Upholding equipment maintenance and 3S (Sort, set in order, Shine) housekeeping standards
Driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, and productivity
