Production Team Leader
Salary: £28,643.42 + 13.5% Shift Allowance
Shift Pattern: Double Days – 6:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Leader to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure safety, quality, and output targets are consistently met while driving continuous improvement and supporting your team’s development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, support, and motivate production teams to achieve performance targets.
* Ensure safety compliance, conduct PPE audits, and uphold HSE standards.
* Run daily Tier 1 meetings, drive problem-solving, and manage escalations.
* Implement Continuous Improvement practices and maintain KPIs.
* Manage performance, training, and attendance while fostering a positive team culture.
Key Requirements:
* Proven production leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
* Strong problem-solving skills (3C, 5S, Kaizen).
* Excellent communication skills across teams.
* Organised, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in creating Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
Desirable:
* IOSH qualification or White Belt training.
* Experience in automotive or Tier 1 supplier environments.
