Production Team Leader - Christchurch
We are recruiting for a Production Team Leader to join a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Christchurch.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and production floor experience, looking to take the next step in their career.
Salary:
£27,000 to £30,000 PA (depending on experience)
Hours:
Full time, Monday to Friday
Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4.30pm
Fridays: 8am to 2pm
What You'll Do:
Communicate production goals and deadlines to team members
Delegate tasks effectively across the team
Create and maintain a productive and motivated working environment
Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback
Ensure the team has clear instructions and direction to meet production targets
Update production lists with accurate information on task progress and work allocation
Support continuous improvement using SQCDP principles
Lead by example and support the delivery of high-quality production output
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
Strong organisational and delegation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Familiarity with SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People)
Ability to motivate and guide team members to meet shared goals
